Yolanda Chaves, a native of Cali, Colombia, possesses a distinguished background in Fashion Design, which informs her unique approach to painting—an innovative fusion of realism and abstract elements. With over 18 years of experience in the art sector, she has cultivated a particular expertise in both sculpture and painting. As a visual artist, Ms. Chaves specializes in the intricate interplay of lines, shapes, and color palettes, emphasizing detail and dynamic composition. Her artwork predominantly explores themes of human figures and expressionism. A graduate of the Cali Conservatory of Fine Arts, Yolanda has had the privilege of collaborating with esteemed professionals such as Fernando Polo, Esteban Martínez, Eliberto Quintero, and Guillermo Ruiz, among others. Her work has garnered international attention, with exhibitions staged at prominent venues, including the National Art Saloon in Costa Rica, Texcoco Art exhibition in Mexico City, Expoarte in Cali, Colombia, the Grau Museum in Bogotá, Colombia, the Department Library in Cali, and the Salerno Art Biennial in Sorrento, Italy, among others.
